My very own Mastercard commercial

Round Trip ticket to South Carolina, $600 dollars.

Three nights in a decent hotel $346.

Economy sized rental car $129.

Twenty hours with my husband, Priceless!!

***************UPDATE***************

I will treasure the memories from this trip as long as I live.  I have always been proud to be an American, and still and always will cry at the playing of the national anthem, or the saying of the pledge of allegience, but seeing your husband take an oath to his country, will forever be burned in my memory.

I am grateful for all the military families who everyday make sacrifices that most of us could not imagine, or comprehend.  We don't know what the road ahead awaits for us, but I do know now more than ever, that with this man by my side, I can do anything.

It's so hard when pricetags are put on family things! I was just looking at fights home to Houston - ugh. Good for you for having your priorities on your hunny though! I am sure you will be glad you went.

Oh, Poppy! My heart aches for you. I only wish I still lived close enough to help, to talk you off the ledge, like you did for me when I was apart from the Mister for what seemed like our forever. For what it's worth, someday soon it will be over. And like all good traumas, you'll block most of it from memory. Until then, blog-o-therapy helps. When that fails, turn to ice-cream, and then chocolate. Or both. Hang in there! You are in my prayers. Love and miss ya!

That's how much it is going to cost! Holy Moly!
But what a great reunion it will be. You are doing a great job going at it alone. You are amazing.
You have this reward trip to look forward too.

I think I'd probably go even if I only got 15 minutes with Brandan. So happy that you'll get to spend time with Ryan.
